Firenze

The capital of Tuscany and probably no other city in Italy that has attracted so many famous painters. Maybe it is not a coincidence that Firenze is the birth city of Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Giotto & Sandro Botticelli. Firenze is also home to here world famous art museum Gli Uffizzi that has One of the world’s greatest collections of art from the 13 – 16 century. Masterpieces by Michelangelo, Rafael, Giotto, Cimabue, Botticelli just to mention a few, are to be found here. In the large dome called SANTA CROCE, you can find the tombs of many famous Italian persons under the imposing floor, like Machiavelli & Dante. Wonderful frescoes of Giotti and Taddei Gaddi are also kept here.
